Before the deadlineIs the FPL Planner free, and do I need to log in?
The planner is free. You can import a public FPL team ID or build a squad manually without creating an account. We never ask for your FPL password.
How do I find my FPL team ID?
Open your Points page on the official FPL website. Your team ID is the number after /entry/ in the page address. Enter only that number here, rather than your email address or team name.
Why can I not import a newly created team yet?
A team that starts in a future gameweek has no published picks yet. Build a draft manually now, then import again after your first gameweek deadline. A temporary problem with the official feed is reported separately from an incorrect ID.
What are the FPL squad and budget rules?
An initial squad has 15 players: two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three forwards. Spend up to £100.0m and select no more than three players from one club. Choose 11 starters, a captain, a vice-captain and four substitutes.
What do the fixture difficulty numbers mean?
The official fixture difficulty rating runs from 1 to 5: 1 is easiest and 5 is hardest. We show the number with the colour for every scheduled opponent. A blank gameweek has no fixture; a double gameweek can show more than one opponent. Ratings are a guide, not a prediction of player points.
How many free transfers can I save in FPL?
After your first deadline, you receive one free transfer each gameweek and can keep up to five. A transfer beyond your available free transfers normally costs four points. Your free-transfer allowance is entered manually here because the public picks feed does not reveal it reliably.
Does planning here change my actual FPL team?
No. Changes here are drafts saved in this browser. Refreshing keeps your draft, but another device or cleared browser storage will not. Make your final transfers, line-up and captain choices on the official FPL website before the deadline.
Why can an imported team show an estimated transfer balance?
The public feed provides your bank and squad at the last published deadline, but not your individual purchase or selling prices or private moves since then. The imported bank is shown as published. Planned moves use current player prices, so their balance is an estimate; check the final selling prices on FPL.
